The GPS-it Summer Internship projects are ready and waiting for your applications!
By undertaking a Summer Internship with GPS-it, you will be joining a leader with over 19 years' experience in AgTech. You will get the chance to learn from experienced mapping and software experts, whilst working on projects with real-world significance, using cutting edge technology at the forefront of technical innovation. As well as developing your technical skills through on the job learning and we will also support you in developing the necessary soft skills to become a valued team member.
If you are passionate about problem-solving, able to work autonomously and as part of a team, can take initiative and communicate effectively, then we want to hear from you!
What we are looking for:
1 x Surveying student (either diploma or bachelor) with general knowledge or GNSS systems, experience using RTK equipment, and familiarity with GIS software such as ArcGIS Pro or QGIS
1 x Business student with a passion for sales and marketing.
To be eligible for a summer internship, you must be:
- Be studying, or have recently completed, an undergraduate or postgraduate degree or qualification at NZQA level 7-10. If study has been completed, the closing date of your final semester should be less than 12 months ago.
- Be studying science, technology, engineering, design, or business at a New Zealand tertiary education institute.
- Be legally permitted to work in New Zealand.
This is a fixed term paid summer internship position for 400 hours, commencing late November 2020.
